Cream Cheese Buns

I saw Yochana's cute little cream cheese buns and couldn't resist myself to ask her for the recipe. I made mine into a big buns because I don't have the cute flutted mould to use.

It's very delicious with the slightly sour cream cheese filling and crusty mexican topping. Definitely will make this buns again.

Oh, the topping will get soft and sticky the next day. But just pop it in the toasted oven and toast for 4-5 mins will bring back the crusty top and hot soft yummy buns.

Thanks diddy and lin. This is actually quite yummy and it's hard to stop at just one bun, eventhough mine is pretty big size. Hahaha...

Lin, I don't think it's sweet but I might have sweet tooth. My friends who tried it never said it's sweet also, just yummy. ;)

I got the honour to try it and it is really really yummy. Right Ching?

Ching, you used a breadmachine for this? I am thinking attempting but a little afraid coz' I cannot do bread well at all.

Yes, it's really yummy.
Actually I used Gina's basic sweet bun recipe that I had made with a breadmachine earlier to make this. I only used Lucy's cream cheese filling and mexico topping recipes to create the cream cheese buns.

Make sure you proof the bread until double in size, then it will be soft and yummy.

@Ching: I love your ideas of making buns! :)

I was given a bread maker for my b'day. Tried out the buttercream buns yesterday and it was so so yummy. :) With the breadmaker, everything seems so easy rite? :)
