Nutella Buns

Experiment with Nutella as filling for my chocolate-coffee dough. The top was sprinkled with desiccated coconut.

What's the inside look like. Excuse the burr picture, hard to take close up.

Verdict: Not bad at all! Just like eating bun spreading with Nutella jam. Most important, my daughter who doesn't fancy bread/buns can finish the whole bread by herself, even two at one go. I asked her, "Hao zhi ma?" and she replied, "Hao zhi". Hehe...

Your daugther's reply makes you really happy, isnt? I am in cloud nine whenever my elder boy said "your baking is the best in the world"... Ha ha ha... By the way, the buns looks yummy!

Yes, it makes the effort worth it. My daughter is a picky eater as well, she doesn't like certain noodle and she would say Ewwwww...and push the bowl away. Naughty leh! LOL!

Well, this bun don't look good at all, you know I just simply shape them, can't compare to you sifus out there who made beautiful buns. Luckily it tastes good. LOL! ;P

Oh yeah, have been making use of my breadmaker. Each dough I made was divided into 3 sections (freeze the other 2) to bake at different times. So, definitely more buns from now on.
