Evy's 3rd Birthday Celebration

This year for Evy birthday I had a little party for her over the weekend, only invited 4 little girls about her age and their parents. It took me two days to prepare the food but I had fun. I hope they enjoyed the food! :)

I made her this birthday cake, but my chocolate fudge didn't set in the middle! :( First time making fudge, very amatuer!

Children table with her Dora theme.

Nasi Lemak and Beef Rendang

Noodle, Soy Sauce Chicken Wings & Spice Chicken Wings

Appertizer & Dessert

The Vegetarian Noodle

Claypot Beef Rendang, I added the Kaffir Lime Leaves

Sambal Ikan Bilis for the Nasi Lemak

Spice Chicken Wings

When my mom see the spread, she will say, " Aiya, you should spend your time holding Edda instead of making all these food!" LOL!!

Ching,
Happy Birthday to Evy and WOW! what a spread for her party. Evy's birthday cake looks yummy and chocolatey and I'm sure she had a ball. BTW, can share your veg mee recipe? It looks good and should taste really yummy. Please let me know the type of noodles you used; I'm in Utah and it's not easy getting asian noodles...
TIA

Thanks buzzbuzz and welcome back! :)

Hi novice baker, yes I did cook all these by myself, no helper, LOL!

Hi Tatiana,
Thanks. I used a dried yellow noodle for the mee. This is the first time I bought this mee and I don't have spare in my pantry so I couldn't recall the brand name and such. I will buy more on my next shopping trip in Denver and let you know.

As for the recipe, all in estimation cause I don't cook with a cookbook. The veggies I used were sliced soften chinese mushroom, sliced cabbage, sliced carrot and lots of chopped garlic. Garnished with scallion on top. As for the sauce, I used oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and a little sugar. That's it! :)

You are welcome V. and glad you liked the food. :)

Hahaha Kat! Thanks! :)

Thanks Tricia! :)

Thanks Edith! I love the tier cake tray too. :)

Thanks Anon for your kind words, will sure keep it up. :)
