Dinner Aug 1, 2007

Featuring my home cook everyday dishes again. Usually it is just a meat and a veggie dish sometimes plus soup. But today I misunderstood the amount of pork I had, I thought it was only a bit of pork left so I took out another veggie. Hence, we ended out with three dishes. So, a lunchbox for each of us for the next day. :)

Simple stir-fry baby bok choy with garlic and oyster sauce. Then top with crispy shallots.

Stir-fry pork slices with scallion, ginger and dried red peppers in dark soy sauce.

Stir-fry Kang Kong in shrimp paste and chili sambal. Recipe is here. Same cooking style.

This is such a nice home cooked dinner. I would not mind having it 3 or 4 dishes more. All so appetizing. :D

Daphne,
I love a good home cooked meal too. Some come with recipes that passed down from generation, sure satisfrying to eat it. Tingle at your last line...LOL!

Thanks tigerfish! Have to, if not hubby won't eat. LOL!

Isha, thanks!

Peony,
Still training Evy to eat spicy food. Because I'm not cooking 2 sets of food either and we don't want to give spicy food a miss. Hahaha... From these dishes, she had the non-spicy veggie, one or two of the pork but was shouting too spicy, so that's the pork she had. More training on her.

Stranger-online,
Thanks for saying Hi! Hope you enjoy my humble blog. Looks like sambal kankong is the favorite among my readers. :)
