Ground Pork with Flower Chives

During the summer break, I was given some home grown flower chives and zucchini.  The owner was sharing this method of cooking the flower chives and it sounded delicious so I was trying out her recipe.  She used the black bean sauce to cook this and since I only have the bean sauce, I used that instead.  It turned out great and it was well received by both of my girls!  As for me, I have found another way of cooking the flower chives! :)

Ingredients:

1/4 lb of ground pork, seasoned with rice wine and sesame oil, set aside
1 bunch of flower chives, washed and cut into 0.5 inch
2 cloves of garlic, diced
1 Tbsp. of bean sauce (豆酱)
Sea salt to taste
A little bit of cane sugar
A dash of white pepper

Methods:

1.  Heat up your wok.  When heated, add in some oil of your choice (I used peanut oil).  When hot, add in ground pork, stir-fry for a little while, add in diced garlic, stir-fry until ground pork no longer pink.

2.  Add in the bean sauce, stir-fry until fragrant.  Add in the cut flower chives.  Stir-fry until slightly soften and season to taste with sea salt, sugar and white pepper.  Mix well.

3.  Serve on a plate and enjoy!
