I had a thing for dried bread. I remembered when I was little, my mom used to buy the dried bread that was hanging at the back of a motorcycle from our Indian bread delivery man. I remembered liking it and like my mom, I loved to dunk it in coffee. I published my recipe before in 2005, in which I spread it with butter, top it with sugar and even Milo before baking. This time, I made it healthier without any added butter nor sugar. It really made a healthy and crunchy snack.

This was what I did with my bread on expiration date. I DRIED it! It was just too wasteful to throw it especially this was a pretty healthy bread. So, I cut it into strips and then baked it in a preheated 200'F oven for 45 minutes. This dried bread was good to dunk in coffee and made a great afternoon snack. Or if you enjoy fresh salad, you add cut into cubes, drizzle with olive oil and add some spices of your choice and then bake it. This would be like croutons that you like so much.
Smart!! Like biscotti!
