Tean's Gourmet Curry Laksa Paste

Finally I tried the well talk about Tean's Gourmet Curry Laksa! It is indeed very good, like Malaysian curry mee. I didn't have the yellow noodle, so I used the instant noodle as substitute. It came out just as good with beehoon. I also added the crispy prawn chilli for extra kick as suggested by Ray. You can buy both of these at myTasteOf Asia.com. I know I will certainly order more when I ran out of these items.

This is how the package looks like. Oh, I used 1200ml of water and 200ml of coconut cream as opposed to 1500ml water and 150ml of coconut milk as suggested.

This is the yummy crispy prawn chilli.

  5. Hi Ching..

The original link wasn't working, the correct link is www.myTasteOfAsia.com.

Also, myTOA is now selling Delimas products which are the same as Tean's Gourmet products - both from the same manufacturer and same ingredients.

  6. If you're going to use yellow noodles, you may as well not eat laksa at all. Yellow noodles in it is plain wrong.

  7. Haha Anon, sorry I found your comment to be funny because there is no right and wrong to what kind of noodle one wanted to use. If you never try it, how did you know it is not good? I can put kway tiao noodle in laksa too, who knows I might create a new laksa sensation serve with kway tiao? In M'sia, it is always served with yellow noodle or bee hoon or both. As long as it tasted good, who cares what kind of noodle is in it, oh yeah, probably just you.
