In fact, I marinated the pork-on-bone chops (couldn't buy spare ribs) with seasoning, herbs and some cola drink (didn't want to open a bottle of beer; no one here to drink the rest of it).
Only slowbaked the meat for 2 hours, basting in between. Then quick-grilled it for 5 minutes with a sprinkling of sugar (honey would be better perhaps) - voila! - it was fall-off-the-bone tender. Thanks so much, ladies. ^_^Argus Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01775884960931383435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11497809.post-17121973758482336942007-06-30T17:45:00.000-06:002007-06-30T17:45:00.000-06:00Cooking Ninja,We love BBQ ribs too and really love...Cooking Ninja,
We love BBQ ribs too and really love the fall off the bone soft kind. Still take 4 hours though. :)Little Corner of Minehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09722570387776029291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11497809.post-91210752673075811952007-06-29T14:12:00.000-06:002007-06-29T14:12:00.000-06:00Hi, Little Corner, 3 hours? The beer will add extra fragrant and flavor to the ribs as well (like beer brats). Guess it goes the same with cola, but I prefer beer.
