Bu...Elena, I don't know why your 腥味 so strong. But I know a trick to get rid of the 腥味 from watching the Chinese cooking show. They use, cooking wine, white pepper, ginger, scallion to get rid of the 腥味. So, you can marinate your pork/ chicken with cooking wine, white pepper, salt and add in sliced ginger and scallion and use your hand to rub it in. And then let it marinate for a little while. You can take out the ginger and scallion before using in any of your stir-frying dishes. You can also add a little sesame oil to 提香. But I won't suggest you to marinate your chicken this way if you want to cook it in curry. Just marinate the chicken with the curry powder first, so that the chicken will be infuse with the curry smell. Good luck and feedback to me how it goes.Little Corner of Minehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09722570387776029291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11497809.post-32121458419018623652011-03-06T00:09:41.448-07:002011-03-06T00:09:41.448-07:00Can you tell me how to get rid of the 'stinky/...Can you tell me how to get rid of the 'stinky/fishy' (腥) smell from the meat? I tried marinade or boil but once it's cooked, the smell is still there. Do you think brining will help? When I cook a curry dish, my husband won't touch the chicken but finish all the potatoes. :-(Elenanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11497809.post-81562739026159181272010-05-24T13:58:09.666-06:002010-05-24T13:58:09.666-06:00delicious!!delicious!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784670399648449327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11497809.post-68783348195408092152010-05-24T11:01:22.892-06:002010-05-24T11:01:22.892-06:00Really BBOven, thanks!
