Chili Black Bean Chicken

Sigh, it does come at a time when I have no idea what to cook anymore.  I like to try new things, cook new food instead of the same old same old.  Furthermore, I can't post the same recipe again in my blog so I had to be creative!  Colorful super-food will always be my priority in preparing my food, the above is just a usual home cook meal.

Red bell pepper, Serrano green chili, garlic, yellow onion.  1 skinless and boneless chicken breast, season with salt, white pepper, garlic powder, sesame oil, rice wine and sweet potato starch (or cornstarch).

Black bean sauce (above picture), Kimlan's soy paste, and light soy sauce to taste.  Sorry no measurement.

Direction:

1.  Heat up your wok, add a little oil.  Stir-fry the chicken breast until cooked.  Dish out and set aside.  In the same wok, add in more oil, when heated, add in onion and garlic, stir-fry well.  Add in red and green chili, stir-fry until fragrant.  Add in the cooked chicken.  Mix well.

2.  Season to taste with the above sauce.  Dish out and serve!

I love this dish! I used to cook it with bittergourd. I used Lee Kum Kee blackbean sauce but it has been unavailable for a long time already.
