Spaghetti with Homemade Sauce

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I made this sauce using chopped garlic, chopped yellow onion, fresh mushroom, ground pork, Italian seasonings, diced tomatoes and canned tomato sauce. Served it with angel hair pasta and top it with chilli oil and grated parmesan cheese. Quite an easy dinner for a lazy night!

Thanks Angie! :)

Mike, Italian seasonings is a blend of dried herbs and spices. I know it has thyme and oregano in it, not sure what else though. Dried herbs flavor is more concentrated, so a little means a lot.

JP, thanks! Not busy lah, see what I cooked are all for dinner, it's not like I purposely cooked it, got to eat mah. :P

Looks delizioso Ching!
I love all kinds of pasta. I usually make meatballs with spaghetti, instead of cooking the ground meat in the sauce.
Have you tried canning your sauce? We made 2 big batches of sauce last summer and canned them. Homemade sauce is the only to go.

ydavis,

I don't bother to can the sauce because we can get the ingredients all year round. I like meatballs too but it takes too many steps, I'm a lazy mama. :P

Yes Lin, it's a quick and easy meal. Not to say, delicious too.
